Our 350 chevy V8 Powered 1969 VW Beetle Hot Rod Project Sitting in my driveway

Here I have the back half of the body sitting on the frame just to get an idea of what its going to look like and how much we are going to need to widen the beetle. Here is a side view of it with the fender on it, the body is going to need to drop around a foot from where it is, but its just sitting on the bed mounts not. That is unless we change our minds and decide to build a Monster Beetle... LOL

With the body center up, it looks like the tires are going to stick about 3" from the finders. We figure that we'll widen the entire beetle body by 6"-8". It would be easier to just widen the finders, but It would be nice to have some more interior room...... Plus I've never like doing things the "easy way" LOL.
