I found a guy on Craigs list that was only about an hour away from us who said he had 1968 fenders, hoods, doors, heater channels, misc., etc......... All for $350. I Know since we have a convertible not all of the parts will work for us, but I figured I'd be able to sell them or trade them, or........

The short story is that the guy restored 7 beetles, and a couple years ago bought a Baja beetle that also came with the parts they took off of it to make it a baja. He thought he might restore another beetle, but currently has 6 other project cars, so he thought he would sell them. When he finally pulled out all the beetle stuff he had a lot more stuff than he remember, but gave it all to us for $350 just to get the room back in his shop.

Here is a quick list of what we got off of the top of my head, there are also lots of parts that I'm not sure about so if you see somthing in one of the following pictures and you know what it is feel free to let me know because I'm new to the whole beetle thing......... I will be going through off of this stuff and taking better pics, organizing, and figuring out what I can use, whats garbage and what I can try to sell.

4 origonal fenders (almost no rust and just 1 dent), 2 regular doors, vent free front windows, rear windows, new gas tank, 1 front hood, 1 front baja hood, used but in good shape heater channels, Running board retainers, 1 rocker panel, rear rocker patch panels???, and 2 running boards. All of these parts very little if any rust and no body filler.

and then 7 milk crates, 1 big tote, and 2 big boxes of misc. stuff some of this stuff is: 2 intakes, a crate of intake parts???, 2.5 solex carbs, a carb rebuild kit, oil sump, fuel pumps, lots of lights, lots of handles, hood hinges, piston rings, main bearings, wheel bearings, 3 brake drums, suspension parts??, door seals, gaskets, oil seals, heater blower, switches, valves, rockers, speedometer and cable, some other body repair panels???, wiper motors, relays and other electrical stuff, and tuns more stuff that I can't remember right now. A lot of this stuff is still in boxes and lots are bosch, and germen....

A lot of these parts won't work for our beetle or I won't need them so I'll be selling some things on Ebay

So here some quick pictures I took when I was unloading all the stuff and trying to sort a little.
